The 70th Reunion of The Boys took place on Sunday 3 May 2015 in London. Fifty-one survivors attended together with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren totalling some 630 people. It was the biggest gathering they had ever had at such an event.
The four Memory Quilts were unveiled to The Boys and their families for the first time and were received with much delight. They are a wonderful tribute and a lasting legacy and testimony to all survivors as well as to those who perished. The quilts are now available to view on the ‘45 Aid Society website: www.45aid.org
Through the Memory Quilt, we hope that these stories will continue and future generations will learn from them to create a compassionate, peaceful and more accepting society.
